These days Bruno and Bowie are the two main big dogs at the art studio. They think this whole company was their idea. We go along with it because it keeps them happy. Keeping dogs happy is one of our skills. Snacks also keep them happy and so do naps. But… in between napping and snacking they are really very hard workers. Most days you can find them modeling. Who wouldn’t buy a product hawked by an adorable big dog.

Crafts

Big Dog was started by two New Jersey dog lovers who wanted to share quality crafts made with local and organic components wherever possible. We wanted to share our crafts with more than just our family and friends. A variety of merchandise has been created; from wood burning to glass crafts to organic soy candles and some miscellaneous things thrown in here and there. You can always find special items for any occasion. Customized products can be made if you have something special in mind. Reach out to us and we will do our best to accommodate your custom request.

Tumblers

We make custom drinkware from stainless steel, double walled tumbler of various shapes and sizes. The whole process is time consuming and involves, glitter, alcohol inks, mica powders, custom designed decals and waterslides, cutting vinyl decals and many coats of resin. The end product is pretty cool, just check out our tumbler portfolio pages and see what we can do. We have basic designs that we have made and offer and we can also do completely custom cups for you. Keep in mind they take a couple weeks to make and cure and we make them only once someone places an order.

Candles

Our candles are natural and made of soy wax. We picked soy because it burns clean and does not contain any paraffin wax like most candles do. Paraffin wax is really a petroleum waste product that is chemically bleached. It creates highly toxic benzene and toluene when burned. As candles burn, phthalates are released into the air where they may be inhaled or absorbed through the skin

In our day to day careers, one of us has a background in dental and the other in graphic design. Is that a weird combination or what? We know… but it works.
